“It should be zero Stars. It was estimated that Scott Sands, owner of sands insurance, lost us $30,000. He made a huge mistake when securing our coverage and would not admit and actually instead lied. When I tried to get his errors and omissions provider info, he refused and said that he was under his mentors errors and omissions. As I continued to reach out to his mentor and him, I was ignored. We had a newborn, a 1 year old, an elderly man who we took in to help with his medical conditions, and my wife who was just diagnosed and experiencing her own medical condition, when our beautifully renovated Victorian home's finished and furnished basement flooded with water, due to water and sewer backup all over Newton Iowa that eventually backed up in our home as well. Because of the weight of something like this happening in our situation, we were devastated and shell shocked. The work itself that it took to safely clean up and sanitize the home was enough to devastate, but we also had to find a place for our dear elderly friend and he had to purchase all new stuff. Scott Sands does not deserve to have an insurance license. Yet, Scott got away Scott free. THE ONLY JUSTICE HE WILL SERVE IS IF PEOPLE DON'T GO TO HIM FOR THEIR INSURANCE NEEDS AND THE JUSTICE HE WILL FACE WHEN HE STANDS BEFORE GOD.“
